    2017-2018 Fort Worth
    ASHRAE Chapter Year
    Celebrate the year with us!

Letter From the President

Hello everyone;

I hope you all had a great start to 2018! Keep up with those resolutions! The upcoming Spring season seems to be our event season. We have many great activities set up in the coming months outside of the regular monthly luncheon. If you have not had a chance to participate in something like the clay shoot or golf tournament, I urge you to give it a try, they are a lot of fun and the money goes directly to ASHRAE Research Promotion.

If you have any projects around the area that you would like to feature in the newsletter, please reach out to us so we can get them included. If you are a student member with our chapter and would like your resume included at the end of the newsletter, please send it to us and we will get it included in the next issue. Thanks every-one for being part of our Chapter, and I hope we have a productive and educational year this year.

Thanks!

Van Cashen, President

  • President-Elect – Saul Martinez
  • Secretary – Allen Grammer

ASHRAE Activities

We’ve gotten a good head start planning some early ASHRAE activities. This fall we plan to meet in conjunction with the NTAEE Chapter at TCU Amon Carter Stadium, in addition we will enjoy a Refrigeration Tour at a local brewery. Watch for upcoming golf tournaments benefitting Research Promotion.

Get Involved

This year, we are trying to schedule events that will allow the membership to get more out of being a member of the Fort Worth Chapter than a PDH for attendance at a lunch meeting. We will be hosting happy hours after the meetings every month and sponsorship opportunities will be available. We are also trying to expand the involvement outside of the core group of people who have volunteered their time over the past few years. Let us know if you are interesting in volunteering for a position in the Chapter.
